• Barbara's have raised over £18,000 for charity in the past 6 years. The following dates have been booked for 2010 to raise further monies for charity.
  
  24 March 2010 - Fun Fashion @ The Beeches Hotel Standish
  A fabulous action packed evening was enjoyed by all including the Mayor and Mayoress of Wigan. Maracas were rattled, and tail feathers shaken with everyone having an enjoyable evening, whilst at the same time raising in excess of £2,000. Monies raised have been donated to the Mayor of Wigan's Charity, raising much needed funds to improve the facilities for Alzheimer sufferers.
  
  5 May 2010 - An evening of Standish Village Retail Therapy with stands being held by Businesses from the village together with a fashion show by Barbara's. Visit the businesses of Standish all under one roof, for one night only. Our own Mrs Jean Cox, also local to the village, will give a talk on image and style. Ticket price £15 includes drink and canapes. Doors open 6.30 pm to give guests the opportunity to shop before the fashion show starts at approx 7.45 pm. All monies raised on this eveing will be donated to the Charities supported by Siroptomists of Wigan. Please contact either shop for tickets.
